Nepali national team, which went on a tour without seven first-choice players due to corona virus epidemic, lost 1-0 in the Mujib Borso FIFA International Football Series against Bangladesh at Bangabandhu Stadium in Dhaka.
After losing 2-0 in the first match on Friday, Nepali national team lost to Bangladesh in the second match today. When Navyug Shrestha's strike hit the post, Nepal won the last match and missed the chance to tie the series.
Due to corona virus infection, six regular players of national team were not with the team in the friendly series held in Dhaka. Another key player of team Rohit Chand was not on tour due to injury.
Five players were absent from Bangladesh tour due to injury and corona virus infection. Nepali national team came on the field after almost a year due to corona virus epidemic.
