Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel has said that economic activities should be carried out within health limits in the difficult situation of corona infection.
In a discussion held at Ministry of Finance on Saturday on the economic activities of country in the state of corona infection, Finance Minister Poudel said that economic activities should be carried out within health limits.
Finance Minister Poudel said that corona infection has seriously affected employment and production sectors as Nepal is a small economy.
Stating that economic contraction has arisen in the country, Finance Minister Poudel said that economic activities should be made dynamic by making the work of increasing production and creating employment by adopting health awareness.
Minister Poudel also said that Ministry of Finance would effectively implement the policy decisions taken by the government to streamline economic activities so as not to affect the livelihood of the masses.
Economic journalists participating in the discussion suggested to Finance Minister Poudel that ministry should work with a plan to keep economic activities running even in the event of corona infection.
