Meeting of Janata Samajwadi party begins

Meeting of Central Executive Committee of Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) has started in Kathmandu from Monday. Meeting was held with the agenda of amending the constitution, making rules, expansion of Central Committee and division of labor.

The then Rastriya Janata Party and Samajwadi Party merged to form Janata Samajwadi Party on April 25. This is the second central executive meeting since then.

Leader Manish Suman informed that the internal issues of the party as well as the recent political developments would be discussed in the meeting and necessary decisions would be taken. Leader Suman said that government has been making ruthless decisions for the control and treatment of corona.

Although the party is united, unity process has not been completed. Mahanta Thakur and Upendra Yadav are the chairmen of JSPA Central Committee.

Similarly, Rajendra Mahato, Ashok Kumar Jha and Baburam Bhattarai are senior leaders. Apart from the two chairpersons and three senior leaders, 51-member executive council has 46 members.
