The Ministry of Health and Population has instructed the hospitals in Kathmandu Valley not to perform any surgical operations except emergency.
The ministry made the decision as the number of Covid-19 infections with symptoms is increasing. The government has instructed not to perform any operation except emergency after the patients with complicated corona infection complained of not getting beds in hospitals.
After reducing operation, the Covid-19 patients will be able to get ICU and ventilator beds easily to some extent, said a spokesperson of the ministry. Jageshwar Gautam said.
