Corona has been confirmed in another 980 people in Nepal on Sunday.
According to Dr Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the Ministry of Health, 290 women and 690 men have been tested in different parts of the country.
Corona has been confirmed in 354 more people in the Kathmandu Valley on Sunday, including 290 in Kathmandu, 32 in Bhaktapur and 32 in Lalitpur.
Similarly, 1,814 people were discharged on Sunday, bringing the number of corona cures in Nepal to 28,941. Similarly, nine more people have died due to corona in Nepal.
The deceased have been identified as one woman from Morang and Jhapa, three men from Kathmandu and one man from Morang, Parsa, Dhanusha and Chitwan, said spokesperson Gautam.
Currently, the number of active infected people is 17027 and the number of quarantined people is 4703.
