Three additional Covid-19 death of Nepalese in the UK and UAE 195 Nepalese in 16 countries have died of Covid-19

Three more Nepalis have died abroad this week from the global epidemic of coronavirus (Covid-19).

According to the Health Committee under the Non-Resident Nepali Association, one person died in the UK and two in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). According to the committee, 195 Nepalis have died in 16 countries till Saturday evening.

The Corona virus has killed 195 Nepalis in 16 countries including the UK, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Ireland, Japan, Turkey, Netherlands, Sweden, India and South Africa.

So far, 34,701 people have been infected with corona in foreign countries except Nepal, but 32,511 have been cleared of the infection, according to the Health Committee.

The Health Committee under the Non-Resident Nepali Association has urged the Nepali community to be more vigilant as the risk of coronavirus (Covid-19) infection has not decreased.

Committee Convenor Dr. Sapkota said that not only public places but also closed-door gatherings would increase the risk of infection.

Dr. Sapkota also requested the corona infected to have high morale. Stating that the growing risk of corona infection has created a kind of psychological panic in the public, he urged to be vigilant by maintaining high morale.

According to him, people should be vigilant by putting themself as first priority. He also recommended to be free from mental stress as much as possible, not to be alone, to talk with friends, to listen to music and even to do yoga and meditation.

Stating that the vaccine against Covid-19 is expected to be available to the public within the first month (January) of next year, he urged everyone to be vigilant and take high precautions.
