Corona infection has been confirmed in 884 more people in Nepal.
According to Dr Jageshwor Gautam, spokesperson of the Ministry of Health, corona has been confirmed in 882 people including 242 women and 642 men during the tests conducted in different parts of the country.
There are 186 infected people in Kathmandu Valley. According to the ministry, 155 corona were found in Kathmandu, 12 in Bhaktapur and 19 in Lalitpur. At the same time, the total number of corona infections in Nepal has reached 37,340.
313 people have been discharged on Saturday. With this, the number of corona discharges has reached 20,555, said spokesperson Gautam.
Another 12 people have died due to corona. The deceased have been identified as a 30-year-old woman from Palpa and a 51-year-old woman from Kathmandu, a 72-year-old woman from Bhaktapur.
Similarly, there are 48- and 49-year-old men in Parsa, 84-year-old men in Siraha, 38-year-old men in Gorkha, 58-year-old men in Kaski, 83-year-old men in Kathmandu, 72- and 61-year-old men in Lalitpur and 82-year-old men in Bhaktapur.
At the same time, the number of deaths due to corona in Nepal has reached 207. Currently, the number of active infected people is 16578. There are currently 7,035 people in quarantine.
