Three more corona infected people died on Monday. Two died at Patan Hospital and one died at Sunsari in Siraha.
According to the District Health Office, Lalitpur, a 74-year-old man from Kathmandu and a 76-year-old man from Dhanusha died at Patan Hospital.
The District Health Office, Lalitpur, said in a statement that a 74-year-old man from Kathmandu, who was undergoing treatment at Patan Hospital, died today.
Another man had been undergoing treatment at Patan Hospital since Shrawan 25. Similarly, a young man infected with corona in Siraha died while undergoing treatment in Sunsari, Dharan.
A 22-year-old Corona-infected youth at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, died at 3 pm on Monday. Director Sapkota informed.
The young man with respiratory problems tested positive for corona on Sunday. He said he died while being treated in isolation. He was admitted to the institute on Bhadra 2. The Ministry of Health has yet to give details about the three deceased.
The health ministry said in a regular live update that eight people had died today. The death toll has risen to 157 so far, according to the ministry.
A 68-year-old man from Sunsari, a 65-year-old man from Morang, a 70-year-old woman from Parsa, a 48-year-old woman from Kathmandu, a 67-year-old woman from Rupandehi and three men aged 38, 53 and 54 from Rupandehi died today, the ministry said.
