NRNA Health Committee 92% infected have Recovered

According to the Health Committee under the Non-Resident Nepali Association, the number of deaths and infection rates due to the corona virus abroad has been declining significantly.

No Nepalis have died abroad this week due to the global outbreak of the coronavirus.

According to the association, 92 percent of Nepalis infected with corona are free from corona infection.

According to the Non-Resident Nepali Association, 27,362 out of 29,624 infected Nepali people have overcome the infection till Saturday evening.

The coordinator of the health committee under the association,According to Dr. Sanjeev Sapkota, the rate of corona infection among Nepalis living in Australia, Poland, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and other countries has increased slightly this week.

According to the association, the number of deaths due to corona virus has reached 181 worldwide including in Nepal and the infection has spread to 46,346 people. According to the Health Committee, 35,804 of them have been released.

Till last week, 143 Nepalis in 14 countries had died due to corona abroad. Expressing concern over the ongoing corona infection in Nepal and other countries in the Middle East, the NRNA Health Committee has urged to strictly follow the health related information issued by the local government.
