Second phase of vaccination campaign against Covid-19 started

Second phase of vaccination program against Covid-19 disease has started from Sunday.

As per the plan of phased vaccination of people in the second priority, vaccination has been started for citizens above 65 years of age. Campaign was inaugurated by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

Along with Oli, his wife Radhika Shakya also vaccinated him. Prime Minister Oli urged everyone to join campaign as vaccines are available to all of them.

Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradip Gyawali informed that Prime Minister has been in hospital for some time as allergies or other conditions may appear in his body after vaccination.

Minister Gyawali said that Prime Minister had vaccinated and encouraged him to get vaccinated with high morale. Minister Gyawali also urged to participate in vaccination campaign started by government.

Foreign Minister Gyawali, Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel, Industry Minister Lekhraj Bhatt, senior Congress leader Ram Chandra Poudel and others were also vaccinated against corona.

After vaccination, senior Congress leader Poudel said that he felt normal after vaccination and urged to make vaccination campaign a success.

In the second phase of the campaign, people above 65 years of age have been vaccinated against corona.

Ministry of Health has stated that women health volunteers, health workers, local level people's representatives, employees and police who have been given first priority but have not been vaccinated due to various reasons will be vaccinated on the basis of availability.

Similarly, senior citizens above 55 years of age, college professors, school (community / private) teachers and
