Political parties and leaders could not fulfill their objectives: Bijukchhe

Chairman of Nepal Mazdoor Kisan Party Narayan Man Bijukchhe has said that political parties and leaders have not been able to fulfill their objectives.

Inaugurating a four-day inter-city intelligence competition and Bhaktapur city-wide school-level sports competition organized by Bhaktapur Municipality on the occasion of Martyrs' Day, Bijukchhe said that civic sentiment was declining in political personalities.

Bijukchhe remarked that there was an unhealthy war going on in politics and people's expectations were being ignored.

Stating that civic spirit and patriotic lessons should be included in the local curriculum implemented by Bhaktapur Nagar at the school level, Bijukchhe stressed on the need for players to make good use of the opportunity to introduce the country through sports. Chairman Bijukchhe said that sports is indispensable for friendship and physical health.

Speaking on the occasion, Municipal Chief Sunil Prajapati said that competition was organized to introduce Bhaktapur city through intelligence games and to make players excited.

Twenty-two municipalities are participating in the inter-city intelligence competition.
