Foreigner fined up to 3 million won for not testing corona in Korea

Local government has instructed all foreigners living in South Korea's Kyangido province to test Covid-19, despite the recent decline in number of corona confirmations. Local administration has instructed all foreigners living here to undergo the mandatory test by March 22.

Failure to comply with the directive will result in a fine of 2 to 3 million Korean won. Local government has recently introduced rule after a mass transition of foreign workers working in some companies in Kyangido province. Local government has said that it has provided information by contacting foreign companies for corona testing and giving information through various means.
