Exchange email hack in the UK firms

According to Cyber-security Firm Eset, email server exceeding 500 and many companies may have been hacked without the awareness of the victim in the UK.

In order to minimize the situation, UK’s National Cyber Security Centre has combined US authorities to provide warnings about hacking.

At the same time the Norwegian cyber authority is directly warning the companies that may be in danger.

The Chinese government-backed hacking known as Hafnium was blamed for the hacking campaign that was first announced by Microsoft on March 2 2021.

Microsoft stated that the methods used to infiltrate the email systems were never been seen before. The popular email system Microsoft Exchange Server was targeted which was being used by large corporations and public bodies across the world.
