Chiyapaan in Baluwatar: Warns Nepal and Khanal not to engage in factional activities

Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has warned Madhav Kumar Nepal and Jhalanath's party not to engage in factional activities.

Addressing a tea party (chiyapaan) organized in Baluwatar on Tuesday, Prime Minister Oli warned that anarchy, indiscipline, law and order and anti-party unity would not be allowed.

Stating that Nepal group objected tea party (chiyapaan) from Baluwatar, and said that it was not a good sign.

Prime Minister Oli objected that some people were gathering in groups even though party had returned to its former state.

Oli urged people not to make a show again by gathering factions, to move around, to give business to the media, not to give news that there are different factions in different places.

Saying that a united, disciplined, dynamic party is needed for a civilized society, Oli said that one should not be left to one's own devices.

Chairman Oli also urged leaders and cadres to stand for unity. Prime Minister Oli also accused party of splitting in a way when it was CPN (Maoist).

Prime Minister Oli also said that parliament was not allowed to function and was held hostage for self-interest. In tea party (chiyapaan), UML leaders and cadres close to Oli participated, while Khanal and Nepali side boycotted.
