More than 130 flights from have been canceled due to excessive air pollution. One of the domestic airline Buddha Air canceled 16 flights on Monday alone.

There are about 100 daily flights from domestic terminals. But Due to inclement weather, night flights have only been operating from Kathmandu to Bhadrapur, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj and Dhangadhi till 11 pm.

Lack of visibility due to smoke and pollution the flights have been cancelled.  As the ship needs at least 2200 meters of visibility at the Terai airport. So, flights have not been operated at the terai airport.

But In Kathmandu, visibility of 1600 meters is enough. Most international airlines had landed via the Required Navigation Performance (RNP) system.

According to the internal terminal, charter flights of helicopters have not been able to take place for three days because of smoke and pollution.
