Women's Association protests against violence and rape in Kathmandu 

Nepal Women's Association has staged a protest in Kathmandu on Saturday against increasing number of murders, violence and rape in the country.

Protest rally started from Ratna Park in Kathmandu and ended at Ratna Park. Demonstrations were held against violence and rape against women and against communist government's unconstitutional and undemocratic measures, said union.

Participants in demonstration staged a placard demanding justice for Nirmala, finding out the truth behind Bhagirathi's murder and reversing unconstitutional steps. Union Secretary Usha Raut said that government was responsible for the increase in rape cases.

According to association, government has not been able to find Nirmala's killer even after three years.
