US bans Myanmar's military leaders

United States has imposed sanctions on Myanmar's military leaders. US President Joe Biden has signed an executive order banning Myanmar's military leaders from "coup".

Order signed by him will be implemented within a week. The U.S. sanctions would apply to military leaders, their families and military-related businesses. The United States has announced sanctions against Myanmar over the military's crackdown on militants.
