Myanmar has blocked access to Facebook, right after the military ousted the democratic government in a coup.
Officials said the social media platform- which for many in Myanmar is the only access to the internet - will be blocked for the sake of "stability".
Elected leader Ms Suu Kyi nor President Win Myint have had any commuicatio since the takeover. Ang San Suu Kyi was detained in the coup and police have filed charges against her.
The Ministry of Communications and Information of Myanmar said social media platform would be blocked until 7 February.
