Johnson's vaccine safe and effective with just one dose

US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) says Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine against corona virus is safe and effective.

FDA is expected to approve the use of Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine in a few days, according to BBC.

In addition, three vaccines against corona virus will be approved in the United States. It is mentioned in the news that if vaccine is allowed, it will be an easy alternative to cheap and easy vaccination.

Vaccine is said to be easy to store as it can also be kept in the refrigerator. Also, the dose of this vaccine will be enough even with a single dose.

Dose of Mordana and Pfizer vaccines currently in use is two doses. Johnson & Johnson’s released its test results last month.

It was tested in the United States, South Africa and Brazil. Vaccine was found to be 85 percent effective in preventing serious illness, and overall effectiveness of vaccine was 66 percent.

An expert team will decide tomorrow whether to recognize vaccine, BBC reported.
