Curfew in Netherlands until March 15 due to corona

Curfew in Netherlands has been extended due to increasing incidence of Covid 19. According to reports, curfew imposed by Covid has also been extended.

Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte said outbreak of the second-wave virus was still growing in Netherlands and that it had led to a curfew in various parts of the country.

Prime Minister’s Root said: "We are looking forward to the situation. We are working hard to eradicate Corona virus, which is on the rise, and we are working to protect it as there is a danger of another wave of virus." Prime Minister informed about this during a press conference on Tuesday.

Health officials and health experts are discussing how to reduce the risk of contracting virus in coming days, said Prime Minister.

Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte said that from March 3, current stringent provisions will be relaxed.

Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte said that opening of primary schools, increasing time for shopping and some other provisions will be relaxed. But government has said it will not lift curfew.

Curfews have been announced in several places at different times. It has been informed that announcement will be extended till March 15.

Curfew has been imposed in Netherlands from January 23 from 9 pm to 4:30 am. Although citizens are protesting against curfew imposed by government, government has requested all citizens to understand this compulsion.
