Art and Practice: Paintings and Dances of "Buddha Mother Vasudhara"

Hong Kong Buddhist Studies Association is organizing Vasudhara gathering. The ritual practice of Buddhism in Nepal now takes place every month in Hong Kong.

In ancient times, the practice of "Buddha Mother Vasudhara" also known as the goddess of wealth flourished from the Ming Dynasty.  Even till today, her practice is renown. Today more and more people attended this monthly gathering.

A group gathers for three different purposes. Guanyin Bodhisattva painting workshop is for those who are into drawing and painting. Participants need to bring watercolour and other material for preparing artwork.

Second is Paubha painting appreciation group. The third is a group that practices Vajrayana Dance of Buddha and Bodhisattva.

Event is dated February 1, Monday from 7:30 pm which will go on for two hours. Venue for the event is the Hong Kong Institute of Buddhist Studies.

Those who can not attend on-site workshops can join via Zoom with special arrangement. Deputy Director of Hong Kong Institute of Buddhist Studies Dr He Manying You will be the key Speaker.

Participants will have the opportunity to participate in the Buddha and Bodhisattva painting exhibition in the Hong Kong Buddhist Studies Association. This will be a special opportunity to share wonderful paintings of the Buddha's mother who is a source of wealth.
