17th Karmapa speaks about 8th Karmapa

His Holiness the17th Gyalwang Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje is giving series of Dharma Talks in Arya Kshema Spring Dharma Teachings 2021.

His Holiness Karmapa gave preaching from Monday, February 15. This series will conclude on March 14. 

The Arya Kshema Winter Dharma Gathering that was to have been held in Bodhgaya is now online. 

His Holiness Gyalwang Karmapa gave a talk in Tibetan. This was translated into Vietnamese

Spanish, Korean, French, Portuguese, Polish, Chinese, Tibetan, English and Russian. The talk could be attended through Karmapa’s official Facebook page and a YouTube channel named “Karmapa”.

Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorje is the head of the old Karma Kagyu Lineage. He guides millions of Buddhists around the world.

Karmapa has travelled around the world to teach traditional Tibetan Buddhism. Apart from traditional teaching, he advocates contemporary topics such as environmental conservation, feminism, digitization of the Dharma, and so forth.

In Tibetan Buddhist context autobiography has higher priority as they are considered to be liberation upon hearing.

Autobiography is crucial as it provides an opportunity for reflecting patterns in one's life as an author. For the reader, autobiography provides an opportunity for remembering, appreciating, and learning. 

Dharma Ebooks has published the autobiography of 8th Karmapa Mikyo Dorje. Twenty-Seven pages long book contains two Autobiographical Praises of 8th Karmapa.

This book contains two prose he wrote of himself.  Autobiographical Verses of Karmapa Mikyö Dorje Called “Good Deeds” and The Praise “He Searched Thoroughly…” was translated into English by Khenpo David Karma Choephel.

This ebook edition was published on 14th February 2021. H.H. Karmapa is teaching these two texts in Arya Kshema Spring Dharma Teachings 2021. Preaching will continue for four weeks.
