South Korea builds fastest-moving train

Korean railway research institute Corel has successfully tested the world's fastest train. The latest train version of Corel, Hypertube train, has been able to run at a speed of 1,000 kilometers per hour, said Corel.

HyperTube is a new version of Korea's Hyperloop train. Korean government began work on the Hypertube project in 2017. Last September, the first success of the concept was to run at a rate of 714 kilometers per hour.

According to the new announcement, all 'faults' seen earlier have been resolved and a successful test of the railway system has been completed so that it can run at a speed of more than one thousand kilometers per hour.

Train, developed by South Korea, is claimed to be faster than long-haul aircraft from Europe to Asia. The speed of a long-haul aircraft flying from Europe to Asia is 800 to 1000 kilometers per hour.

The institute has stated that it will continue to refine the technology and will have developed tracks and full vehicles by 2022.

Similarly, the government is preparing to bring the railway into operation by 2024.

Now that the train is operational, it will be possible to reach Busan and any place in the country from Seoul, the capital of Korea, within 30 minutes.
