Meeting between the Foreign Ministers of Nepal and India

Foreign Minister Pradip Kumar Gyawali, who is in New Delhi to attend the sixth meeting of the Nepal-India Joint Commission, and Indian External Affairs Minister Subramaniam Jaishankar (S Jaishankar) met at Hyderabad House this morning. 

In the meeting, they discussed the  relationship between two countries as well as various other issues happeing around.

According to the Nepal Embassy, New Delhi the meeting has been attended by Foreign Secretary Bharatraj Poudyal, Nepali Ambassador to India Nilambar Acharya, Indian External Affairs Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringala and Indian Ambassador to Nepal Vinay Mohan Quatra.

The meeting is being held in the same building today under the co-chairmanship of the Foreign Ministers of both the countries.

The meeting will discuss all issues of Nepal-India relations including trade, transit, energy, borders, COVID-19, physical infrastructure, communication network, investment, agriculture, tourism and culture.

The meeting will be attended by senior officials of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Commerce, Finance, Water Resources, Energy and Railways of both the countries, as per the embassy.
