In the United States, Trump supporters attacked the parliament building, killing one and injuring six

Supporters of Trump has attacked and vandalized the parliament building. Curfew has been declared in the capital, Washington. A woman has been shot dead by police inside the parliament building.

The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a U.S. military base. Trump supporters stormed the Capitol building during a debate in the House. Trump supporters broke into windows and doors with weapons and chanted pro-Trump slogans in the speaker's office.

CNN has confirmed that a woman was shot dead by police during a violent clash between protesters and police inside the parliament building. Six people have been seriously injured in the protest. Two dozen people have been arrested and security forces have seized five weapons including two explosives.

Speaking on behalf of his countrymen shortly after the parliamentary attack, President-elect Joe Biden called on Trump to end the confusion and violence. Biden described Trump as trying to co-opt American democracy, saying it was an attack on democracy. Even George W. Bush, including Kamala Harris, has said that an attack on the US Parliament is not good for democracy.
