At least six people have been killed in floods in Malaysia after heavy rains. More than 50,000 people have been displaced by floods in the eastern state of Pahang, said officials on Friday.

"I have lost all my possessions because of the floods, and the roofs of my houses have been washed away," said Tan Kong Leng, a 59-year-old factory worker. Tears welled up in his eyes as he described the incident.
