FBI warned of possible armed protests during Biden's inauguration in the United States

US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has warned of an armed protest in the United States during swearing-in of President-elect Joe Biden.

FBI says various armed groups are preparing for demonstrations in the capitals of all 50 US states and in Washington DC.

It has been reported that armed groups are planning to hold demonstrations in all 50 states from January 16. Demonstrations are expected in the federal capital from the 17th to the 20th, "said FBI in a statement.

Biden is scheduled to be sworn in on January 20. At the same time, additional security challenges have been added to President's swearing-in ceremony.

Meanwhile, US Department of Defense has approved deployment of 15,000 national guards for Biden's swearing-in. Last week, Trump supporters attacked parliament building.

International media quoted Pentagon as saying that 15,000 National Guards were being deployed in view of recent situation.
