Election commission has rejected the request of Prachanda-Nepal group, saying it will not stop the preparations for election.
Reaching Election Commission on Monday, chairpersons Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and Madhav Kumar Nepal had requested to stop election scheduled by government.
Leaders also suggested commission to work on the basis of cleanliness, fairness and neutrality.
However, Election Commission has said that election will be held on the date fixed by government and will not stop. It is also said that Prachanda (Nepal Group) was urged not to doubt on neutrality of the commission.
