Manab Sewa Ashram working for humanitarian cause

Two Bangladeshi nationals rescued from the streets of Chitwan and Lamjung districts are being repatriated today. The philanthropic organization, Manab Sewa Ashram, had rescued Bangladeshi nationals, Mamina Begam (Geeta) and Mohammad Babul (Babulal), from streets in 2072 BS.

Manab Sewa Ashram’s Secretary Sushil KC informed that the helpless duo have been living in Ashram for five years.

Finally, their homes have been identified through Bangladeshi Ambassador for Nepal. She further informed that the Bangladeshi duo would be sent off to Bangladesh through a chartered flight for their family reunion.

Begam was rescued from Ramnagar of Chitwan with a fragile health condition. The Ashram also made arrangements for her treatment at Bharatpur Hospital. Similarly, Babulal was rescued in semi-conscious condition on the street of Lamjung.

Earlier too, the humanitarian organization had already arranged the reunion of three helpless Bangladeshi nationals with their families.

The organization has rescued 48 foreign nationals and reunited with their families. Manab Sewa Ashram is working to identify rescued foreign national families and facilitate their family reunion, the Ashram sources said.
