The first vaccine against coronavirus, developed by Pfizer, has been given to newly elected President of the United States, Joe Biden.
He said he was vaccinated to reassure the American people that vaccine was safe. Many political leaders, including Biden, have been vaccinated against corona in the United States. US Vice President Mike Pence and Speaker Nancy Pelosi have also been vaccinated.
More than half a million Americans have been vaccinated. Biden said in a televised address “There is no need to worry, I am using the vaccine to show that people should be ready to be vaccinated when it becomes available”.
