The US election results take some more days to come

Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden is close to victory in the United States. Biden has demolished the Red Wall in many parts of the United States, built a blue wall, and increased access to the White House.

Out of a total of 538 electoral votes, candidate who gets 270 electoral votes is elected as President in the United States. Biden has received 264 electoral votes so far, and remaining six are likely to be easily counted.

Incumbent President Donald Trump, who is running against former Vice President Biden, has received only 214 electoral votes so far. As he is far behind, his chances of winning are slim. Trump is seen ahead in only two places.

Trump has filed a lawsuit in court, expressing dissatisfaction and apprehension over the vote count, as he looks set to lose and the vote count continues. Counting has been completed in 43 of the 50 states in the United States, and counting is under way in remaining seven states.

Even in most of the places being counted now, Biden is ahead, so his chances of winning are high. Biden is in lead in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Georgia and Nevada.

Biden has so far garnered 70 million votes. Officials say presidential candidate has received most votes so far. Voting in the United States, which began on Tuesday evening, ended late at night and counted on Wednesday morning.

Similarly, some of the votes have been collected by post and some are still coming from some places, said officials. The final results will be announced only after all those votes have been counted.

In every election in the United States, millions of voters cast their ballots by post. Similarly, there is an arrangement to elect President under the Electoral College system. Electoral votes are assigned to all states on the basis of population.

Elections are held in November every four years in the United States. New president-elect is expected to enter the White House on January 20.

This election is viewed with importance as actions of the US President will have a direct impact on the lives of many people in the United States and abroad.
