Struggle programs made public demanding opening of Dohori Sajh and night businesses

Dohori Sajh and Night Business Operations and Management Committee has made public programs of struggle demanding immediate opening of Dohori Sajh and night businesses by government and stakeholders.

Speaking at a press conference in Kathmandu on Wednesday, committee said that it was compelled to move ahead with struggle program as there was no hearing despite repeated requests from government and all concerned to run their business.

Committee complains that Covid-19 has disrupted Nepal's economy and that the biggest hit has been Dohori Sajh and night business.

Committee has alleged that other businesses besides Dohori Sajh and night businesses have been opened but government has not shown any interest in opening this area.

Speaking on the occasion, Rim Chhetri, president of National Folk and Dohori Entrepreneurs' Association, said that Dohori Sajh and night businesses should be opened immediately.

Similarly, Saru Thapa, vice-president of the association, said that their business had collapsed due to Corona and government should fulfill their legitimate demands.

Similarly, Rajendra Karki, president of the Nepal Musicians' Association, stressed on the need to open business immediately by assimilating demands and requests put forward by government as it is a Dohori Sajh and night time business.
