Regular flights to South Asia and other suitable destinations, which were closed due to Corona epidemic, will resume.

A meeting of Covid 19 Crisis Management Center Steering Committee formed by government for control and prevention of corona in Singha Durbar on Sunday decided to make a proposal to the Council of Ministers through Ministry of Tourism to introduce regular flights to South Asia and other suitable destinations.

Meeting decided to request Ministry of Federal Affairs to make arrangements for health workers from local wards to provide health counseling to the citizens living in home isolation at local level, said Mahendra Guragain, Secretary at the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.

Similarly, meeting will propose to Council of Ministers to give exemption to the employees of foreign diplomats who are allowed to come to Nepal so that their families can also come, said Guragai.

Guragai informed that it has been decided to take a proposal to Council of Ministers through Ministry of Labor to bring bodies of Nepalis living abroad to Nepal.

Guragai said that 136,216 Nepalis have been rescued so far and rescue work has been completed by the diplomatic mission. If any Nepali needs to be rescued, it has been decided to rescue him by adjusting it from regular flights and no more flights for rescue.

Meeting of the committee has decided to enter Nepal from Jhulaghat of Baitadi as arrangements have been made to enter Nepal from 13 places on the international surface route.

Similarly, meeting has also decided to allow only car and jungle safari areas to be opened for tourism activities. Meeting also reviewed the current situation of corona infection in Nepal, said Guragain, Secretary to the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
