Main ritual of Chhath festival starts from Wednesday

Main ritual of Chhath festival, which is a symbol of human civilization, gratitude to nature and worship of the sun god, has started from Wednesday.

Under the main method, Araba-Arbain is done in the method of the first day (Chaturthi), which is also called Nahay-Khay. Kharna is given on the second day, sunset on the third day and Aghrya on the fourth day.

Fast of this festival, which is celebrated by worshiping life-giving power sun god and the sixth mother, is considered a difficult fast. Sun is considered to be the god of health as well as the antidote to poverty.

Although worship of sun is considered to be the main element in Chhath festival, Chhath is considered to be a joint festival of worshiping God and Lord Surya.

Thus, to show devotion to the same deity in both male and female terms is to respect the natural form of creation. Chhath festival, which was earlier limited to Mithilanchal, is now gaining popularity in the capital, hilly areas and elsewhere.

Chhathparva is purely the worship of nature and man. This vow expects divine grace to have children.

In Bhagawad-gita, it is mentioned that Goddess Shashti gives a son to sonless, a wife to wifeless, wealth to the poor and good fruit to the doer. For this reason, this festival has been popularized as a festival of common equality.
