It is getting cold all over the country. The minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley was measured at 8.4 degrees Celsius on Wednesday morning. The afternoon temperature in Kathmandu is forecast to reach 24 to 26 degrees.
On Tuesday, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu dropped to 8 degrees Celsius, the lowest this year. Normally the temperature drops in the morning when the night sky is clear.
As no rain causing system is active at present, the weather is generally clear across the country and it is getting colder gradually, according to the department. The temperature will continue to drop till 9 o'clock in the morning.
Meteorologists have said that the weather will be clear in other places even though the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly areas on Wednesday.
Meteorologist at the Weather Forecast Division Varun Poudel informed that the weather will be cloudy and sunny in the hilly areas due to the influence of local winds.
According to him, the weather in the hilly areas is cloudy and there will be no rain.
