IPL Winner Mumbai win 20 Crore Award

In the final of the 13th season of IPL, Mumbai Indians defeated Delhi Capitals to win the title for the fifth time at a record level. Along with the trophy, Mumbai received a cash prize of Rs 200 million and Delhi a cash prize of Rs 125 million.

Runner-up's cash prize is less than the most expensive player in the game, Virat Kohli. The Board of Control for Cricket in India had decided to halve this year's cash prize, which was later reversed.

The franchise pays Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) captain Virat Kohli Rs 170 million for one season. However, Australian fast bowler Pat Cummins was the most expensive at the season's auction for Rs 155 million. He was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders. Cummins is also the most expensive foreign player.

The Delhi team had 6.7 percent more millionaires than Mumbai. The highest amount of Rs 150 million was given to Rishabh Pant.

There are three teams this season with 15 players worth Rs 10 million or more. These include Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
