Gurjo planting on vacant land in Tinkune by traffic police

Metropolitan Traffic Police has planted 1,500 gurjo in the vacant land of Tinkune in Koteshwor.

Department has said that consumption of gurjo is very useful to increase the immunity to fight against the disease. Police have planted Gurjo  at the rate of five plants in all 44 traffic offices in Kathmandu Valley on Saturday.

Chief of Metropolitan Traffic Police, Senior Superintendent of Police Bhim Prasad Dhakal, Superintendent of Police Rameshwar Prasad Yadav, police officers and staffs planted Gurjo saplings during a program on Saturday.

While planting Gurjo, SSP Bhim Prasad Dhakal, Chief of Metropolitan Traffic Police, said that consumption of Gurjo has been effective in boosting body's immune system.

SSP Dhakal said that risk of corona infection is high as traffic police working in the front line should be in touch with many people on the road.
