Nepal Students Union, organization of main opposition Nepali Congress, has staged a protest rally in Kathmandu.
During the protest, government tried to deceive leaders and cadres of Nepali Union by making false allegations without any reason and administration took its cadres under control to escape the real culprits, said General Secretary of Nepali Union Manoj Baidya.
Baidya warned that Navy would take to the streets if its cadres were not released due to Corona epidemic.
Nevisangha had carried placards saying that government of KP Oli, leader of dictatorship, should not play games on public health and no corrupt government is needed.
Police had arrested some Nepali Union cadres on the charge of being involved in the attack on Tribhuvan University associate professor Prem Chalaune. Nevisangha has been claiming that organization had no hand in the attack on the driver.
