Bomb has exploded in Afghanistan. Bomb blast near the northern city of Bamiyan has killed at least 17 people. More than 50 people have been injured.

One traffic policeman was killed in the blast. Bomber struck shortly after noon as President Ashraf Ghani was attending a meeting of Regional Cooperation Organization.

Bamiyan is one of the safest provinces in Afghanistan. According to local officials, blast took place in the middle of Bamiyan city. No one has yet claimed responsibility for the blast, according to Tolo News.
