The US presidential election, which has attracted the attention of people around the world, has been widely criticized for being too late.
As of 12 midnight US time, previous day's results had changed slightly. Biden now needs a total of six electoral votes. Biden received 264 of 270 electoral votes required to be elected president. President Trump has received 214 electoral votes so far.
Results of most of the states have already been counted and the results of remaining four states are yet to come. In Nevada, where there are six electoral votes, 89 percent of votes have been counted so far.
Until yesterday, Trump had taken lead in both states. In these two states, 99 and 95 percent of the census has been completed, respectively. Trump's chances are slim if he wins only one of the four states.
