Trump announces end to relief package talks

US President Donald Trump has said he will end talks on a package to help the economy, which has been hit by Corona virus (COVID-19).

President Trump has said he will resume the program only after November 3 presidential election. The wave has erupted after Trump said he would postpone the lower house's debate on the package until after the next election.

US President Trump cites Democrats' economic demands for state and local governments as the reason.

"As soon as I win the election in November, a relief law will be passed targeting hard-working Americans," said US President Trump.

US President Donald Trump has said he will end talks on a package to help the economy, which has been hit by Corona virus (COVID-19).

Trump's announcement has pushed for consensus efforts. But there is ongoing debate about how much relief the US economy needs.

Democrat Speaker and finance minister are discussing the budget. Speaker Pelosi has emphasized 2 trillion aid package.

Republican senators have indicated they will not support more than half of the package. Trump has accused Democrat Speaker Nancy Pelosi of failing to make a reasonable effort to reach a consensus and has called on his group to end the talks.

But Pelosi has countered that the president has put himself ahead of the country. Democrat leader Joe Biden, Trump's rival, has remarked that he has turned his back on the American people.

US stock markets have fallen 1 percent since Trump's announcement. The United States has seen huge losses in international trade for the past 14 years.
