Talks between KC representatives and government side resumes on Friday

Saying that more homework is needed regarding the demand of Dr. Govinda KC, government side and talks between Dr. KC's representatives on Thursday have been resumed on Friday.

Talks will be held on Friday morning after additional homework. Government has started formal talks on 25th day by forming a negotiating team within 24 days of KC's fast.

On Wednesday, the government formed a three-member committee headed by Gopinath Mainali, secretary at Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.

Joint Secretary of Ministry of Health and Population Dr. Gunaraj Lohani and Director of Medical Education Commission Dilip Sharma are members.

On behalf of KC, four-member negotiating team was formed under the coordination of Dr. Jeevan Chhetri, Dr. Anjani Kumar Jha, Dr.Lochan Karki and Omprakash Aryal are members.

Dr KC, who started his 19th fast from a dharamshala in Jumla on August 13, was brought to Nepalgunj on October 19. Dr. KC is on hunger strike at Teaching Hospital after he was airlifted to Kathmandu from Nepalgunj on October 22.
