Since Prajapati community considers Vishwakarma as their Kul deuta, they celebrate it by sacrificing goats, roosters, etc. on the day of Navami.

According to a local, Kiran Prajapati, worship is done on the day of Navami as it is like a clan in Vishwakarma to teach the skill of making pottery in the Prajapati community. Other communities celebrate Vishwakarma Pooja on October 22 by worshiping industries, their vehicles and metal objects. Lord Vishwakarma is considered to be the omniscient as he is a theologian, astrologer, architect and knower of every scripture.
