Member of House of Representatives from Communist Party of Nepal Sanu Shiva has died.
Shiva Pahadi, a proportional MP from CPN-UML, died at Kathmandu Medical College in Sinamangal this morning. She had a kidney transplant last year. A few days ago, Sanu Shiva was admitted to the hospital with a sudden heart problem.
Shiva, who has been involved in UML's Jana Sanskritik Manch for a long time and was active in party's activities, was established as leading woman leader of her birthplace Taplejung. After her marriage to writer and musician Dumbar Pahadi, Sanu Shiva was also active in CPN (Maoist) politics in Ilam.
