Mask distribution campaign started

At a time when number of corona infections is increasing in Nepal, General Secretary of Nepal Students' Union Manoj Baidya has started a campaign to distribute masks.

Baidya started mask distribution campaign from New Baneshwor in Kathmandu on Friday. It is said that about 20,000 masks will be distributed daily and about four lakh masks will be distributed.

Congress spokesperson Bishwaprakash Sharma, who arrived in Baneshwor for distribution of masks, said that the distribution of masks to the general public and workers was a government issue as number of corona infected was increasing.

Congress spokesperson Sharma said that nothing should be done just by looking at government and everyone should contribute from their place for the control of Corona.

Similarly, General Secretary of Nepali Union Baidya said that the state has not been able to be accountable to the people even though it has collected taxes from the people.

Baidya said that mask distribution campaign will be conducted in different places of the capital. Earlier, Vaidya had launched a campaign to provide food to the troubled people in different places.
