On the first day of Navratri, a crowd of devotees has gathered at Shakti Peeths in Kathmandu Valley on Saturday.
Devotees have reached Shaktipith for worship on the occasion of Navratri even amidst Corona epidemic. Crowds of devotees have been seen coming to worship at other temples including Bhadrakali temple on Saturday.
Though less crowded than in previous years, devotees have reached Shakti Peetha for worship amid Corona epidemic.
The government, on the other hand, has banned worship for the general public except for conducting regular worship at any temple or Shakti Peeth. Throughout Navratri, the three forms of Durga, Mahakali, Mahalakshmi and Mahasaraswati are worshiped methodically.
