Decision to treat Covid 19 infection at one's own expense is unconstitutional: Prakash Man Singh

Nepali Congress leader Prakash Man Singh has said that government's decision to treat Covid 19 infection at its own expense should be reversed immediately.

Speaking at a mask distribution program organized at various places in Kathmandu Region No. 1 on Wednesday, Singh said that the decision to treat Covid 19 infection at their own expense was unconstitutional.

Leader Singh also said that the government has failed to protect life and health of people as guaranteed by the constitution.

Leader Singh also said that it was irresponsible for government to step back and treat itself at a time when Covid 19 infection was on the rise.

Leader Singh also said that on the one hand, people should be tested for PCR at their own expense and on the other hand, act of giving Dashain allowance to federal parliamentarians was intended to discredit parliamentarians in the eyes of people.

A few days ago, Leader Singh started distributing masks in his region. Earlier, Singh had provided food and rescue aid to those affected by the landslide.
