Another 3,749 people were confirmed to have corona infection in Nepal on Thursday.
According to Ministry of Health, corona infection has been confirmed in an additional 3,749 people during tests conducted in different parts of the country.
Similarly, corona has been confirmed in 1,935 people in Kathmandu Valley. According to spokesperson of the ministry, Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, 1,693 people in Kathmandu, 134 in Bhaktapur and 108 in Lalitpur have been infected with corona virus.
Along with this, number of corona infected in Nepal has reached 121,745. Another 19 people have died due to corona. At the same time, number of deaths due to corona in Nepal has reached 694.
Similarly, another 3,564 people have been discharged on Thursday. At the same time, number of people recovering from corona infection in Nepal has reached 84,518. At present, number of active infected people is 36,533, said Gautam, spokesperson of Ministry of Health.
At present, there are 24,194 people in home isolation, 12,339 people in institutional isolation and 4,825 people in quarantine.
According to the ministry, 16,598 PCRs have been tested in the last 24 hours. Spokesperson Dr Jageshwor Gautam informed that 1.237 million PCR tests have been done so far.
