More 2,856 people were confirmed to have corona infection in Nepal on Sunday. According to Ministry of Health, corona has been confirmed in an additional 2,856 people during tests conducted in different parts of the country.
According to the official website of Ministry of Health on Sunday, an additional 1,535 people have been found to be corona in Kathmandu Valley, of them, 629 are women and 906 are men. According to Ministry of Health, 1,225 corona were added in Kathmandu, 163 in Bhaktapur and 147 in Lalitpur on Sunday. Along with this, number of corona infected people in Nepal has reached 158,089.Similarly, five more people have died due to corona and 847 people have died due to corona so far.
According to ministry, an additional 3,336 infected people were discharged on Sunday, while 111,670 infected people have been cured so far. Currently, number of active infected people is 45,572. At present, there are 3,064 people in quarantine, while 1,393,173 samples have been tested in Nepal so far, according to ministry. A total of 12,311 PCR tests have been done in the last 24 hours.
