Corona has been confirmed in another 5743 people in Nepal on Wednesday.
According to Ministry of Health, corona has been confirmed in an additional 5743 people during tests conducted in different parts of the country.
According to ministry, corona has been found in 3107 people in Kathmandu Valley. Accordingly, corona has been confirmed in 2391 people in Kathmandu, 173 in Bhaktapur and 543 in Lalitpur.
Along with this, number of corona infected in Nepal has reached 144,872. Another 26 people have died due to corona, while 791 people have died due to corona so far.
According to ministry, another 2,996 infected people were discharged on Wednesday, while 99,605 infected people have been cured so far, said ministry spokesperson Dr Jageshwor Gautam.
Currently, number of active infected people is 44476 thousand. At present, there are 4,065 people in quarantine and 1,334,897 PCRs have been tested in Nepal so far.
